Project Creativity

We have many creative and talented people working at Beverly's in Santa Maria.  That being said, we thought that now would be the perfect time to feature Project Creativity!  Project Creativity was our brilliant employee Gail's idea and it gives our customers an opportunity to show off their craftiness to anyone who comes into our store!    This time the theme is "security blankets".  Gail said that the entrants brought in items that they had made that represented a security blanket to them.  Any and all customers are encouraged to vote on their favorite creation, the one with the most votes wins.  These items are now on display in the store, hanging over the fabric counter and can be voted on until 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 12th.  The winner takes away a gift basket and (equally important) bragging rights!  AND the majority of the entries will be donated to the Good Samaritan Shelter after the contest!

The hearts on one side of this blanket turned into inspiration for the details on the other side of the blanket!  Cute!

The different colors and patterns on this quilt are eye catching.  This quilt would be at home in just about any room! Pretty!

This bright and colorful girly quilt looks to snuggly!  Cozy, Cozy!

Baby animals and rainbows!  And you can't see it in this picture but it also has a tail and little ears!  Super sweet!

Wintery days make us think of warm, fuzzy hats and scarves!  The variegated pattern is just Beautiful!

Another cozy baby blanket...this time with a cute little hat and in blues!  Very Comfy!

And so, Beverly's Santa Maria Customers, you have your work cut out for you!!  You get to vote for your favorite (at the store) and I'm telling you it is NOT going to be easy to pick a favorite.  All of the entries are pretty dang awesome!

Now Go! Be Crafty!
